The Sit and Reach test tests you on your flexibility and how far you can reach over your toes. Your feet will lie under a box with a measuring device on top of it. You will push the measuring device as far as you can while keeping your legs straight.
I did poorly in this test being ranked on the second half of the class and being under the average. Reasons for this are my lack of flexibility in my hamstrings and back. |
2 week programFor this I would do back and leg stretches once a day for ten minutes. Stretch so that your muscles loosen but don't stretch so that you start to hurt. Do this for 2 weeks.

improvementThis test could have been improved by allowing us notice of what the test was going to be so we could practice it. Also if i hadn't let my back and legs tighten up from the weekend sports. If we hadn't of completed the beep test before it, my legs wouldn't of been so tight and I would have been able to stretch further.
