The Medicine Ball test, tests you on your upper body power. In this test you will stand on a line and throw a medicine ball as far as you can without bending your back or your knees.
I went extremely well in this test ranking 2 out of 31 and beating the class average. Reasons why I succeeded are my swimming and board paddling building strength in my arm and back. |
2 week programStretch out your arms and loosen them. Then you will start 5 sets of 20 push ups to build up power in your arms. do this 1 everyday for 1 week. Then get a medicine ball and focus on not bending your knees or bending your back so you wont get disqualified and throw the ball as far as you can. Do this for the second week of your training.

This test could have been improved by allowing us more of a chance to bend our backs because it was frustrating and hard to keep your back straight.
